Kathie Lee Gifford hosted the 4th hour of TODAY with Hoda KOTB from 2008 through April 5, 2019. Entertainment Weekly lauded the Gifford and Kotb show as "appointment to watch television" while USA Today called it TODAY's Happy Hour. Gifford composed TODAY The Musical 2014 featuring the hosts of the show. The singer also wrote each month a song to promote Everyone Has a Story. In the year 2015, Gifford was inducted into the Broadcast & Cable Hall of Fame. Gifford hosted Live with Regis & Kathie Lee, a program which she hosted over 15 straight years.
